コールマンで2001年から４年間だけ展開されたエクスポーネント・シリーズのアイテム。

exponent(エクスポーネント)は、コールマンでありながら、コールマン・ジャパンのカタログには掲載されない独自の商品展開で、1980～1990年代のPeak1(ピークワン)シリーズとよく似たシリーズでした。

ランタン、ストーブ、テント、他、小型軽量なアイテムで、ソロ・キャンプ、バイク、トレッキングなどをターゲットにしたラインナップでした。

本商品（トレッキング・スツール）も、軽量コンパクトで、脚部が折りたためて、バイク・ツーリングや、その名の通りトレッキングに携行しやすい収納サイズで、ケースにはベルトループも着いています。

短命だったシリーズですが、20年が経過し、他のコールマン製品にはない魅力を感じます。
